Mistborn Series
Brannon Fuller (SRHS student & Librarian)
I loved this fictional book full of action and wonder! If you are looking for a page turner then keep reading! Not to spoil too much, but there are mystic powers, strange creatures, and a wild plot that will keep you all night reading...I loved this book, I am reading it a 2nd time to reabsorb any missed detail, and to experience the ride of emotions all over again! The Snake River Library is my favorite source for any great book I want to read! I hope you can love this trilogy as much as I have! -10/10 review- -Brannon Fuller, SRHS student and librarian
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (Exclusively on Libby)
Kayleigh Adams (Librarian)
I loved The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian. I think the author's voice is so compelling. It's one of those books that is written in first person and it feels like the character could be walking right beside you. The book is a fictionalized autobiography, and the author combines seriousness with humor to describe Arnold's life on the Spokane Indian Reservation, and his deviation from it. I especially admire the way that the author wrote about his experiences with grief.
Salt to the Sea
Sherrilynn Bair (Library Director)
A challenging topic but an important WWII story. The perspective of several different characters makes it more interesting. I really like the explanations of which parts are fiction and which parts are based on fact. I will read other books by this author in the future.
Inheritance Games
Allie Andersen
I loved this book so much! There were a lot of riddles and puzzles that I enjoyed trying to figure out before the characters. The romance was soooo good!! Avery finds out that a billionaire that she doesn't know left her all of his fortune and everything he owned when he died. There's one condition though: she has to live in his mansion for a year to be able to inherit everything and his four grandsons are living there too. They all try to figure out why he left his fortune to her. You definitely need to read this book and the rest of the series!
It's not Summer without You!
Bracquelle Gee
It's not summer without you is a very good book. The book is about 16 year old girl named Belly who goes to a beach house in Cousins Beach every summer. But this summer was different. Belly lost a really close family friend in the winter and everything went down hill. Belly not only lost a really close family friend but she also lost the beach house and the boy she loved.

This book was better then the first book! It is very humorous and keeps you on your toes. I definitely laughed a couple times, but I also cried along with it. This is a very emotional book and was extremely fun to read! I had to go out and buy this book because of how good it was!
Here Lies Daniel Tate
Madi Smith (Library Assistant)
This book will grab & hold your attention the entire book. Filled with drama & unexpected plot twists, you never know what will come next. Told from a petty con artist's point of view, the reader follows the fake "Daniel Tate" as he navigates, romance, friendship and the dark secrets lying in each family.
The Book Theif
Kayleigh Adams (Librarian)
I first read this book in seventh grade as part of an ELA project. It was the first time I'd read historical fiction, and I've loved the genre ever since. However, I have never found a book equal to this. I will always remember the way it felt when I first read it. It was dark, but there was light shining through. It felt deeply important. I will always love the characters, especially Rudy, Hans, and Rosa. Each time I've re-read this book, it has only grown more special to me.
The Game (Book 1 of 4)
Madi Smith (Library Assistant)
Filled with action, science fiction, romance & more. The Game will constantly keep you invested as you experience what life would be like if children learned by entering a virtual reality simulation instead of school. It's a very interesting read that will make you think
